PicShow
Introduction
PicShow is a free screensaver that can be configured to use one's own
pictures (from a single directory) formulated to a slideshow mode.
It works pretty much like the My Pictures screensaver option that comes
packaged with Windows XP, except that in PicShow you can configure the
time between pictures to be anything from 0.1 seconds to 1000s of
seconds.
With PicShow screensaver you can get the 'My Pictures SlideShow' screensaver in Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000. (Provided you install the .NET framework)

System Requirements
- PicShow is a .NET application and therefore requires the .NET framework to be installed to work correctly.
- To determine if you already have .NET installed, please read my notes
about .NET here. I also provide a small utility that you can run on
your PC to check the presence of the .NET runtime.
Installation Instructions
(1) Download the 'picshow_setup.exe' setup file into any folder you
wish and just double click the file to start the installation.
(2) Once the install finishes, it will automatically open your
screensaver dialog with the new screensaver file highlighted. If this
did not happen, access the settings for the ScreenSaver by going to the
Display Properties Dialog in your system. (One way is to right click an
empty area on the desktop, and select 'Properties' and then select the
'ScreenSaver' tab. See Screenshot above.)
(3) Select the 'PicShowSS' option from the list of ScreenSavers. Set
the options for your screensaver by clicking the 'Settings' button. It
will open a dialog (See the screenshot above) to set the folder where
the images are contained. Set 'Apply'. Press 'Ok' and close the dialog.
(4) Enjoy the images when the screensaver kicks in.
(5) To Uninstall, open 'AddRemove Programs' and then select PicShow.
